Since its foundation in 1908, Harvard Business School has gone on to become one of the most highly revered business colleges in the world. Heading into 2014, it topped U.S. News & World Report’s “Best Business Schools” in the U.S. list – sharing its distinction with Stanford. Harvard also ranked first on the Financial Times’ “Global MBA Ranking” list for 2013. “For over 100 years our students and faculty have shaped business around the world,” boasts the school’s website, and according to Bloomberg Businessweek, 93 percent of its full-time MBA students can look forward to job offers, eventually earning a sizeable median salary of $120,700.
